Corporate Citizenship and Environment Responsibilities
With more than 4,700 small-format stores in strip malls and shopping centers across the U.S. and in Mexico, RadioShack combines the purchasing power of a national retailer with the personal touch of a neighborhood merchant. Our corporate citizenship activities reflect this through programs that support specific endeavors in the communities where we live and work by promoting global issues, such as cancer awareness, environmental responsibility, stewardship and compliance.
Preserving the Environment
RadioShack is committed to operating in a way that's environmentally responsible — from prudent sourcing and recycling to facilitating proper disposal of used electronics. We promote these initiatives through our Trade & Save program, which enables our customers to exchange their working electronics for a credit or upgrade to new products, as well as our in-store recycling programs, which encourage consumers to bring their used rechargeable batteries and cellphones to any RadioShack location for free, responsible recycling. Upholding Our Responsibility
We are committed to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations that apply to our business, and our vendors and business partners must agree to comply with the same standards.
